so on april 31 i traveled the 2 hours of flat, grassy, non congested road that took me home. its been a little over a week and i'm not bored of home (which is a great sign considering i'm an hour away from a mall/movie theater/anything that will truely waste my summer money).
i went to baltimore last weekend with courtney for the orioles vs. yankees game. it was great. i finally felt like a grown up (like college and being on my own didn't really do that). we drove up without a parent (which in all the previos trips to baltimore we've had an "adult" with us), we had our own hotel room, we drank beer, we walked around baltimore looking for things to do, and didn't have to answer to anyone. it was amazing.
this weekend i'll be heading to the beach (if my father approves of the trip). i'll be leaving after i get off work tomorrow night at 11pm and taking yet another 2hour, nonparental trip to a more fun destination. it will be 3 days of complete "bro-ing" out as i will be with a lot of my guy friends. wish me luck!
ahh the great sounds of summer!! can't wait to see how the rest of my summer vacation will be! (:
